Shortly after appointing Chantal Rickards as its first CEO, BAFTA LA has promoted Matthew Wiseman to the post of COO. The London native joined BAFTA LA in 2002 and has held various roles since then, most recently as Director of Operations. During his tenure, Wiseman has helped expand the organization’s screening and events program, launched educational initiatives for emerging talents including the Brits To Watch program, and developed the BAFTA US Student Film Awards and BAFTA Britannia Award...
