We
are happy to announce the Bangkok Creative Pro User Group meeting on
Oct 30, at Friesse Greene in Bangkok. The featured speakers will be Brad
Bowyer and David Wood from Autodesk Singapore.
Brad Bowyer and
David Wood will be presenting information about Flame, as well as other
new and exciting developments at Autodesk. Brad brings extensive
industry knowledge as well as an entrepreneurial spirit and business
acumen to his role as Industry Sales Manager focusing on Creative and
Finishing. He has worked in the Asian
Media and Entertainment Industry for 26 years in which time he has
touched most aspects of the business from the creative, technical and
business perspectives and is looking forward to using that experience to
maintain and build the Autodesk Flame and Smoke product lines industry
leading position.His most recent engagement prior to joining Autodesk
was with Avid where he worked for 4 years both as a Professional
Services Consultant and Media Composer Master Instructor primarily
covering the APAC region from China to New Zealand and with additional
deployments in the US, UK and the Middle East.
David Wood has
27 years of experience as a visual effects and finishing artist,
specializing in television commercials and broadcast design. In his
current role, he demonstrates Autodesk’s Digital Entertainment Creation
solutions throughout Asia Pacific. He also provides product training,
along with creative and technical consultation for clients’ film,
commercial and broadcast projects. David is a regular Autodesk
spokesperson at industry trade shows, including NAB in Las Vegas, IBC in
Amsterdam, and BroadcastAsia in Singapore.
They will be a Q
& A after the presentation, and both David and Brad will be around
afterwards to meet the diverse group of people that make up the Bangkok
CPUG.

Queen’s Park hotel, three doors from Usman restaurant in Bangkok. This
is just a short walk from the BTS Phrom Pong station near Emporium.
Doors open at 6 pm, and the presentation will be from 7:00 to 7:30, with
snacks and drinks from 7:30 to 9:00.
