<strong><a href="http://www.blackmagic-design.com/press/pressdetails/?releaseID=11852">Davinci Resolve 8.0 and Resolve Lite</a></strong> <br /> <br /> Two big pieces of news for our Resolve world. We are introducing version 8 of our Resolve color correction software, which is available to existing Resolve customers free of charge. The new version adds a number of major features, nclude multi layer timeline support with editing, and XML import and export with Apple Final Cut Pro. The new DaVinci Resolve 8 now includes OpenCL processing to allow use on Apple iMac and MacBook Pro computers. New advanced processing tools have been added for real time noise reduction, curve grading, advanced multi point stabilization as well as automatic stereoscopic 3D image alignment. <br /><br /> <strong><a href="http://www.blackmagic-design.com/press/pressdetails/?releaseID=11851">Free version of Resolve -- DaVinci Resolve Lite</a></strong> <br /> <br /> This includes many powerful features found in the full version of DaVinci Resolve. DaVinci Resolve Lite is based on DaVinci Resolve 8, and will run on the latest model iMac, 17inch MacBook Pro and Mac Pro computers. It includes all the same high quality processing of the full DaVinci Resolve, however limits projects to SD and HD resolutions, only two color correction nodes, a single processing GPU and a single RED rocket card. <br /><br /> <strong><a href="http://www.blackmagic-design.com/press/pressdetails/?releaseID=11850">UltraStudio Pro 3D</a></strong> <br /> <br /> The first product available with Thunderbolt technology. The UltraStudio Pro 3D is a new portable Thunderbolt‚Ñ¢ based capture and playback device with full resolution dual stream 3D support, 12 bit hardware architecture, dual link 3 Gb/s SDI, support for up to 1080p60 in SDI and component analog and HDMI 1.4a connections, as well as full SD, HD and 2K support, for only US$995. It is perfect for 3D workflow as it features both interleaved/side by side and dual stream capture and playback. Interleaved 3D allows the left and right eye to be interleaved as fields into a single video connection and file, so customers can edit using current editing software. <br /><br /> <strong><a href="http://www.blackmagic-design.com/press/pressdetails/?releaseID=11842">The Hyperdeck Studio</a></strong><br /> <br /> The HyperDeck Studio ($995) is a new uncompressed 10 bit broadcast recorder for SSDs that is perfect for outside broadcast vans, a master control room and for on-set recording and viewing of dailies, as a video server or for replays at live events. It features dual slots to allow automatic recording onto the next disk when one record disk fills, allowing unlimited duration recording. It features a beautiful user friendly VTR style design with function buttons, a jog wheel for jog and shuttle, plus external RS-422 control. The high resolution LCD screen displays timecode and transport information plus a full color thumbnail preview of the current clip in record and playback. <br /><br /> <strong><a href="http://www.blackmagic-design.com/press/pressdetails/?releaseID=11844">The Hyperdeck Shuttle</a></strong> <br /> <br /> The HyperDeck Shuttle is the world’s smallest SSD recorder for $345. Now there’s no need to haul around a computer on set because the lightweight HyperDeck Shuttle does full capture and playback in uncompressed 10 bit HD video, yet fits easily in a backpack. Customers can also add HyperDeck Shuttle to their tripod along with the camera. Perfect as a field recorder, it captures uncompressed 10 bit SDI or HDMI video onto Solid State Disks (SSDs) in a portable design that is battery powered so it’s designed for recording high quality on location shoots, or for use as a deck with live production switchers. The HyperDeck Shuttle bypasses the camera's compression and records from SDI and HDMI directly into the highest quality uncompressed video. It is built out of a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum, so a beautiful product that is rugged enough for location use. <br /><br /> <strong><a href="http://www.blackmagic-design.com/press/pressdetails/?releaseID=11841">Blackmagic Design Announces SmartView Duo</a></strong><br /> <br /> SmartView Duo ($695) is a dual rack monitor with large 8 inch LCD screens in a compact rack mount design that's less than an inch thick. It handles all SD, HD and 3 Gb/s SDI video standards, and all screens can be remotely adjusted via an Ethernet network, so setup is much simpler when users need to color match all the monitors in a large video wall setup. It can be installed into equipment racks for local monitoring in post production, or for multi-monitor video walls in master control rooms or for camera monitoring for production switchers. <br /><br /> <strong><a href="http://www.blackmagic-design.com/press/pressdetails/?releaseID=11848"> Blackmagic Design Announces UltraStudio SDI</a></strong> <br /> <br /> This is the world's smallest (fits in your hand) and most affordable SDI capture and playback solution with HDMI monitoring for USB 3.0 computers for only $395. Built with a machined aluminum design, UltraStudio SDI also includes built in HDMI 1.4 output for low cost local monitoring, genlock and RS-422 deck control. <br /><br /> <strong><a href="http://www.blackmagic-design.com/press/pressdetails/?releaseID=11849"> Blackmagic Design Announces DeckLink 4K</a></strong> <br /> <br /> The DeckLink 4K is a new 3 Gb/s Quad Link SDI capture card that supports SD, HD, 3 Gb/s HD, 2K and 4K capture and playback using a single PCI Express slot for only $595. It is a SDI capture and playback card for 8 lane PCI Express computers that supports all SDI formats, and can be instantly switched between SD, HD, 2K and 4K so customers can do any kind of work from standard post production and broadcast work, right up to digital film in 4K, all on the same card. <br /><br /> <strong><a href="http://www.blackmagic-design.com/press/pressdetails/?releaseID=11839"> Blackmagic Design Announces DeckLink Quad</a></strong> <br /> <br /> A new quad channel DeckLink card ($995) that is 4 SDI capture and playback cards on a single PCB that can be switched between SD and HD video formats.
