So said Thomas Ethan Harris to open his April 20 seminar entitled In the Cut: Employing the Art of Editing––part of his Visual Communication seminar series at the American Cinematheque's Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. Co-founder and former programming director of the Los Angeles Film Festival, Harris designed the series as an interactive cinematic forum for aspiring filmmakers.
