This May at galleries in Los Angeles and New York, the post-production community will come together to collaborate on an art show, displaying works of art created once the monitors are turned off and the studio doors are closed. Curated and presented by The Molecule, the show entitled "The Art of Post: Creativity After Delivery" aims to showcase the artistic talents of the diverse group of individuals who make up the post-production community – everyone from producers and editors to sound engineers, colorists, and VFX artists. "The post community is full of painters, photographers, sculptors and even woodworkers," says Lauren F. Ellis, The Art of Post's Co-Creator and Producer at The Molecule. "We're hosting a night to celebrate the art that happens after we head home from our day jobs." The Los Angeles exhibit will be held on the evening of May 12th at PYO Gallery LA, and the New York exhibit will take place the evening of May 13th at White Space Chelsea. The Art of Post is now accepting artwork for its Los Angeles and New York City shows.
