In part one of this series, I suggested that the easiest way to learn how to cut was to watch as many films as possible and just start cutting something together. I personally believe it’s better to intuitively learn the art of the cut at a subconscious level rather than learn the theory first and then try to apply it so you can cut something that “feels right” rather than a more intellectual approach.
