The centennial birthday party for Elmo Williams, A.C.E., was held on his actual 100th birthday, April 30, 2013, at the Brookings Activity Center in Brookings, Oregon, where he makes his home. Appropriately, 100 guests attended the Renaissance-themed event — all in period costumes — including family members, longtime friends and out-of-town guests.
