I was interviewed recently in regards to the lack of presence of 2D animation in films today, here's the questionnaire, after doing a bit of research I discovered a few interesting things about the recent history of 2D animation in films, I was able to make a timeline and pin-point when traditional animation perished for feature film in North America.
