BURBANK, Calif., Jan. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Six weeks after its release, the Frozen soundtrack has claimed the top position on the Billboard 200 chart, scanning over 165,000 units, according to Nielsen SoundScan. To date, the album has sold more than 500,000 units and will be certified gold shortly. Disney's last animated film and soundtrack to achieve simultaneous No. 1s was "The Lion King" in 1994.
