Grass Valley execs made their pre-NAB visit to New York this week, and became one more hardware centric company making its peace with Moore's law. Tim Thorsteinson, newly re-crowned as Grass Valley chief executive, noted the increasing commoditization of products–including those traditional switchers and routers made by the company–meant the company was on the right path with its Stratus strategy.
