A few days back, I referred to a post by online video analyst and expert Dan Rayburn which questioned whether HEVC (H.265) would see any real “adoption for consumer services” in the next 5 years. Dan — and the respected firm Frost and Sullivan, in which he is a principal analyst — are skeptical.
