While we’re just getting our toes dipped into the 4K kiddie pool, 8K is peering over the horizon with Japanese television network NHK planning broadcasts by 2016. But what is wowing people at CES this week isn’t just the stunning 4K screens with bendable screens, but that they’re much wider, like 21:9. And some believe that’s going to take us where we want to go more than a resolution we can’t even see.
