How to
purchase and use your new telescope with Mike Dzurny
Monday, November 30th,
4pm – 5:30pm & 6pm – 7:30pm
In this seminar, Mike Dzurny from Meade Instruments will explore how

gazing needs. He will go through the technical aspects of optical design,
aperture and optical performance, eyepieces and magnification, and more.
Attendees will learn about terrestrial viewing in cities and wilderness as well
as what telescope is best for them.

Join Sony Artisan and AdoramaTV presenter Miguel Quiles in the first of a
three-part series on using Sony Alpha series cameras for professional studio

Miguel will cover everything one needs to know to use off-camera lighting with
Sony cameras including recommendations for flash triggers, strobes, speed
lights, modifiers, camera settings and much more. Miguel will also demonstrate
some of his favorite lighting techniques live in-studio.

Presents: Entry Level Digital SLR and Tips & Tricks Seminars
Wednesday, December
2nd, 4pm – 5:30pm & 6pm – 7:30pm
In this one-day, two-part seminar, Nikon technical representative Alex Podstawski
will take attendees through the basics of how to use a digital SLR camera

and tricks. In session one, Alex will go over topics like, what is the difference
between an ƒ-stop and a bus stop? He’ll also cover ISO, shutter speeds,
aperture, lenses and more. In session two following immediately after,
attendees will discover how to take picture creation with their Nikon D-SLR to
a whole new level.

Walk: Carry Less, Create More

A photo walk for minimalistic photographers (http://www.adorama.com/alc/browse/pages/carry-less-create-more-photowalk?utm_source=In-Store-Events-Nov30&utm_medium=press-release), hybrid photography pioneer Giulio Sciorio, in partnership with The
Phoblographer, Lumix G and Tenba, will be guiding attendees through the city,
focusing on the art and craft of photography on the streets of New York. The
walk will begin with professional models, then transition to street and urban
architecture. Following the photo walk, Guilio will be giving a presentation in
store at Adorama. Attendees must RSVP to attend and should bring a small camera
with them for the walk. For photo walk participants, AdoramaPix will be
offering a complimentary 8â€x10†metal print.
