It should be required viewing in all film schools." - Julian Semilian, Film Editing Faculty, North Carolina School of the Arts About Invisible Art/Visible Artists 2010 American Cinema Editors Education Center presents Invisible Art/Visible Artists 2010, a feature documentary film that captures the Academy Award Nominees for Best Editing discussing their art before a full house at the American Cinematheque's Egyptian Theater the day prior to the Academy Awards, moderated by Academy Award-winnner Alan Heim, A.C.E. These distinguished editors (from the films AVATAR, DISTRICT 9, THE HURT LOCKER, INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS, and PRECIOUS) reveal their individualized approaches to storytelling and openly discuss their philosophies, their influences, their visions and, most significantly, their working relationships with their directors. Following the film, there will be a panel discussion with these top editors: CHRISTINA INNIS, A.C.E. ACADEMY AWARD WINNER, THE HURT LOCKER BOB MURAWSKI, A.C.E.
