Comedy editing is one of the more difficult styles of editing. If the actors delivery is off, the timing is off and as an editor, you need to "Try" to fix it for pacing and timing in the overall film. Not everyone is meant to cut comedy films and shows, editors who may excel in one style of comedy editing might not excel in another.
