When I was at NAB I met with Leigh F. Herman who is Director of Business Development in the Sony Creative Software division. We discussed Sony Vegas Pro 12 and Sync Link, unfortunately we were limited by time so we didn’t get to go into Spectral Layers Pro and Sound Forge Pro but, I’ve used Spectral Layers Pro before and loved it. Those who have listened to the podcast will remember my discussion about it last year. In this meeting we discuss Sync Link, the ability to link unrelated video and audio clips to make shifting in the timeline easier as well as major workflow upgrades.
