Looking for Work

I am currently looking for my first editing job. I spent 3 months this year (2009), from March til May, studying Digital Editing at the New York Film Academy in New York City. I have a good grasp of Final Cut Pro 6, Compressor 3 and DVD Studio Pro 4. I also have slight knowledge of Photoshop and After Effects.

I am looking for any type of vacancy that will allow me to get started in editing. I am willing to do unpaid projects, to add to my reel. Or even to be a runner for a working editor, and work my way up. I have had practice cutting dialogue scenes, a music video and a film trailer.
