The Netherlands association of Cinema Editors is proud to announce that renowned Oscar-winning film editor William Goldenberg, ACE will be the honorary guest at its Annual International Masterclass, to be held in Utrecht during the Netherlands Film Festival, on Saturday, September 26th, 2015. William Goldenberg, ACE started his career under the wings of legendary film editors Dede Allen and Michael Kahn, before cutting Frank Marshall's Alive in 1993. He then became known for his extended collaboration with director Michael Mann (Heat, The Insider) and he has since worked on a very diverse range of genres: from Michael Bay's Transformers: Dark of the Moon and John Turtletaub's National Treasure to Morten Tyldum's The Imitation Game. Goldenberg was nominated for an Academy Award no less than five times (The Insider, Seabiscuit, Zero Dark Thirty, Argo en The Imitation Game), and he won his Oscar for Ben Affleck's Argo in 2012.

This year marks the fith edition of the NCE's annual film editing masterclass. Earlier editions featured editors like Mick Audsley (12 Monkeys), Alexander Berner (Baader-Meinhof Complex), Hervé Schneid (Amélie), Juliette Welfling (Un Prophète) and Pernille Bech Christensen (In A Better World) and composer Johan Söderqvist.

The event will be held in music hall Cloud Nine located inside the famous TivoliVredenburg venue in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
