In looking at the AF100 recently I was asked by Yves Simard if it was actually recording a progressive signal, or whether it was progressive within an interlaced signal (essentially the same as a Progressvie Segmented Frame, or PsF). I hadn’t thought about it, but it seems a lot of people are quite convinced that AVCHD doesn’t support 1080p25 or 1080p30 (only 1080p24 has native progressive support).
