Sound on Screen was conceived to solve the common post production problem of a character in a drama watching an unseen screen. Mocking up movies, TV shows and games for movies and dramas can be hugely time consuming, while acquiring original rights is usually tortuous and prohibitively expensive. Sound on Screen is a whole off-the-shelf library and good to go, with a huge diversity of clips available in a variety of mixes and stems that contain music, dialogue and sound effects. Licensing is as simple as regular production music. In the UK it is acquired through the PRS/MCPS portal, but new in May 2020 we are now able to license for all non-UK clients around the world directly, at exactly the same rates as the UK. Clients can view the UK PRS rate card linked on our site, email us with details of the license they require and we issue the invoice right away.
