Stalingrad is both an epic look at the battle that turned the tide of World War II, and an intimate look at soldiers on both sides trying to preserve their own humanity. Already the highest-grossing film in Russian history, it is the first Russian film to be shot and produced for IMAX 3D. As a result, it posed some new challenges for the filmmakers in post-production. Stalingrad opens Feb. 28 for an exclusive engagement in IMAX 3D theaters.
