A viral video created for Netflix to promote their hit show, Stranger Things. The concept was to create an authentic 1983 newscast that would look as if it could fit perfectly into the show. We wanted to include the typical ‘news pans’ during the broadcast … when the camera pans to create negative space where the picture in picture image will appear, which meant shooting a locked off 16x9 frame size at 4K at 29.97fps.
