The New Mexico Post Alliance ANNUAL EVENT Nov 8th

First, VFX Supervisor Louis Morin will discuss coordinating on-set visual effects for postproduction. Then Foley Artist Lara Dale and Audio Engineer Josh Reinhardt will demo a live-on-stage foley recording session using a scene from "Drunktown's Finest." And last, but not least, Lara will be joined for an open discussion by the film's Writer and Director, Sydney Freeland. 

Following these presentations at 2:15 PM, The New Mexico Film Foundation will screen for cast and crew, FOFVA and NMPA members the "Life In New Mexico Collaborative Media Project."

This event brings together VFX and sound in a rare opportunity to see and hear the work of one of the most talented Foley artists in the Southwest. Lara believes that "Foley has the power to make a bad film better, and a good film great." Wonder no longer if your film could benefit from creative sound design and Foley - it most definitely can! Lara and Josh will share the esoteric and somewhat secretive art of Foley, and are willing to pass forward that knowledge to independent filmmakers and producers in attendance. They are delighted to assist in making a meaningful contribution to the great wealth of knowledge, innovation, and talent that is the NM Film community.
