Toshiba has announced the PX02SS, a 2.5" 12GB/s SAS enterprise SSD designed for write intensive workloads like online transactional databases. The PX02SS joins the recently released PX02SM, which is also a 12GB/s SAS SSD, but generally fails to take advantage of the speedy interface.
