USC’s School of Cinematic Arts invites applications for two full-time positions in the Editing Track of the Production Division. At least one of these positions will be a tenured track position. Applicants for the positions should possess notable, recognized credits in editing. Though credits in film and television are desirable, strong professional credits in other, non-traditional forms of editing, are desired. Teaching experience is preferred. An advanced degree is desirable but not mandatory. Candidates should have comfort in both traditional and non-traditional forms of editing, be comfortable with emerging technologies, and have a strong sense of story structure with both narrative fiction and non-fiction storytelling techniques.
