VES to present Ridley Scott with Lifetime Achievem

LOS ANGELES — The Visual Effects Society (VES) has named director/producer Sir Ridley Scott as the recipient of the VES Lifetime  Achievement Award, in recognition of his enormous contributions to  filmed entertainment. The award will be presented at the 14th Annual  VES Awards, set to take place on February 2, 2016 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
